Reggio Emilia can boast an old and well-established tradition in town-planning.
Important city planners and architects, who have contributed to signify town planning during the period of the functionalism have worked to develop and to transform Reggio Emilia’s area.
Reggio Emilia belongs to one of the Italian city most involved to test new experiences as citizen’s participation in planning’s processes or to use in a systematic way tools as mobility plan or historical centre plan. What is the contribution due to regional laws and what to local people’s character, persons with a lively imagination and a passion for testing all what is new?
Has been able that plans and ideas to form city’s areas as they meant?
