Andrea Longhi, architect, is associate professor in History of Architecture at Politecnico di Torino - DIST, where he teaches "History and Criticism of Cultural Heritage". He also teaches for the course degree in "Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage" of the University of Turin (Venaria Reale) and for the master course in "Architecture and Arts for Liturgy" at the Pontificio Ateneo Sant'Anselmo in Rome.

Abstract

We are here re-printing the essay "Architettura: i luoghi dello stare e i luoghi del passaggio" written by Glauco Gresleri, first published on the journal d'Architettura. Rivista italiana di architettura (vol. 26, January-April 2005). The text is introduced by a foreword by Andrea Longhi: we wish to thank him for the material and for his collaboration. For our issue, Gresleri's words have undergone some edits, in order to adjust them to the journal guidelines.
