E’ stato amministratore e consulente tecnico in enti pubblici come il Ministero dell’Ambiente e l’Agenzia Nazionale per la Protezione dell’Ambiente (ora ISPRA). Collabora dalla sua ideazione al Progetto “Le città sostenibili, Storia, natura, ambiente” del Comune di Modena, per cui ha curato i volumi Città e ambiente tra storia e progetto (2004), La città e l’ambiente (2009), Città e architetture. Il Novecento a Modena, 2012 . E’ responsabile scientifico del Gruppo Nazionale Città Sostenibili, di Agende 21 locali italiane. Si occupa di sostenibilità, pianificazione territoriale, servizi ambientali, anche in chiave storica.

Laureata in storia contemporanea all’Università di Bologna, è responsabile dell’Ufficio Storia urbana del Comune di Modena per il quale coordina i progetti “Le città sostenibili. Storia, natura, ambiente “ e “Città e architettura. Il Novecento a Modena“. Ha curato i volumi L’urbanistica di Modena medievale (con E. Guidoni ) 2000, La città europea del XX secolo (con V. Gregotti ), 2002; Per un Atlante storico ambientale urbano 2004, Città e architetture. Il Novecento a Modena (con V. Bulgarelli) 2012.

Abstract

The contribution moves from some works recently presented by the Research and Documentation on the Urban History Office of the city of Modena, which for several years held an in-depth activity and cultural information for citizens about the city and its architecture. The comparison of the paths followed in the different towns, with a particular focus on Modena, can identify some basic characteristics of regional planning and its non-linear relationship with the building production and architecture. We propose the results of this research and suggests possible further analysis, with a systematic and reconnaissance approach of the regional landscape.
