Luigi Bartolomei University of Bologna

PhD in Architectural Design. He studies
the connections between the sacred and architecture, with a particular focus on Christian liturgy, religious communities, and the reuse of abandoned religious heritage. He is an invited professor at FTER. He is editor of Il Giornale dell’Architettura, and editor-in-chief of in_bo. Since 2017 he has been collaborating with the Italian Episcopal Conference.
Ernesto Antonini University of Bologna

Full Professor of Technology for architecture at University of Bologna, Department of Artchitecture. As researcher and then as senior scientist He participated in several research project funded by both National and European Programs, mainly focused on innovation in building techniques, materials and components as well as on new tools and equipment for the building process and, lately, on recycling of construction & demolition waste and sustainable architecture.
