PhD in Architectural Design. He studies the connections between the sacred and architecture, with a particular focus on Christian liturgy, religious communities, and the reuse of abandoned religious heritage. He is an invited professor at FTER. He is editor of Il Giornale dell’Architettura, and editor-in-chief of in_bo. Since 2017 he has been collaborating with the Italian Episcopal Conference.
Monica Della Volpe Fondazione Monasteri

Monica della Volpe (Dozza, Bologna, 1944) entered the Cistercian-Trappist Monastery of Vitorchiano in 1970. She has led the community of Valserena (Pisa) for twenty five years. The Fondazione Monasteri has its origins in her belief in the historical and ecclesiastical role of monasticism and in the wish to share her experiences with others. She has published a biography of Maria Gabriella dell’Unità (La strada della gratitudine, Jaca Book, 1996) and La vita monastica oggi (Nerbini, 2018), among several articles in monastic journals.
